The Chicago Tribune reports that Barack Obama has issued a statement in support of Planned Parenthood in Aurora:

I fully support Planned Parenthood's desire to open a new facility in Aurora. The proposed center will serve the growing population in a part of the state where access to a full range of reproductive health care services is lacking.

This is great news on so many levels. First, the organization I work for, the Pro-Life Action League, was the first to picket candidate Obama—back on February 10, one of the coldest days of the year. We opposed him then, he's opposing us now—kind of returning the favor.

The Jericho March Finale brought together pro-life ministers and nearly 1000 supporters, all asking for God's intervention to keep the Aurora Planned Parenthood abortion clinic closed—and our Lord certainly has not disappointed!

I've posted a video that captures the sights and sounds from the event, especially the rousing speeches given at the press conference. And here are a couple of other great videos I saw on Youtube covering the Jericho March Finale.

Once again… after a little digging we find yet ANOTHER example of Planned Parenthood’s deception in the media. After his arrogant and open admissions of deception were published in newspapers and blogs across the country, Chicago PP CEO Steve Trombley has recently taken to the airwaves in an effort to re-spin the truth.

With his recent admission to the Chicago Tribune that “Frankly, I'm surprised we were able to keep it a secret for so long" still echoing in the ears of the Aurora community, Trombley now has the gall to claim just the opposite – claim that Planned Parenthood WANTED the city of Aurora to know they were moving into town, and bringing an abortion super-clinic with them!

What fantastic clergy we have in Aurora and in the surrounding area.  First of all, they came together, from different faith backgrounds, for the purpose of defending the most defenseless - the unborn.  The common bond, the proclaimation of the "self-evident" right to "LIFE". Yesterday, many print and broadcast media took notice of our struggle against Planned Parenthood for the first time when a little handful of clergy gathered for a press conference to support Planned Parenthood. Leah Hope of ABC Channel 7, who interviewed me at the Vigil site yesterday told me there were eight or nine clergy, scraped up from all over the Chicago area.

There were more clergy than that up on the altar with Bishop Sartain at yesterday's pro-life Mass at Our Lady of Mercy, and we've had many times that number out on the street on numerous occasions praying that Planned Parenthood will never open.

In fact, more than sixty clergy just from Aurora have signed the Fox Valley Clergy for Life statement opposing Planned Parenthood. Add to that sixty-plus from neighboring communities.
