At the monthly protest of Planned Parenthood Aurora on August 15, local pro-lifer Denham Reynolds got some footage of the picket and did a great interview with the Pro-Life Action League's Eric Scheidler. Eric explains the history of our battle against Planned Parenthood in the Fox Valley and encourages the crowd about our recent victory in the enforcement of the Illinois Parental Notification Act.

Posted by Matt Yonke on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Protest outside Planned Parenthood AuroraSaturday, April 18 was FVFAPP's monthly third Saturday protest and, for the first time in months, the weather was beautiful.

Well over 100 pro-lifers came out to let Planned Parenthood and the Fox Valley know that they do not want one of the country's largest abortion facilities in their back yard.

Many pro-lifers were protesting abortion for the very first time and expressed how good it felt to do something about a cause they feel so passionately about. [Continue reading . . . »]

Pro-lifers pray the stations of the cross at Planned Parenthood AuroraOn April 10, Good Friday, over 120 pro-lifers gathered outside of Planned Parenthood Aurora to pray "The Way of the Cross for Victims of Abortion."

Who's running for school board?

Posted by Matt Yonke on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Vote Pro-Life on April 7One of the central issues in the fight against HB2354 is the impact it could have on our kids by way of the mandatory sex-ed it would impose on all Illinois public schools.

With that in mind, who's running for school board in your area? Do you know the candidates? Do you know where they stand on comprehensive sex-ed and other issues that effect Illinois families?

What can you do?

If you do know, post what you know about the candidates at the Stop Illinois FOCA website so others can benefit. If you don't know, find out and report back with the information. I've turned off comments on this post so we can consolidate everyone's knowledge in one place at the Stop Illinois FOCA site.

  • To find out who's running, can check with your local board of elections or election commission.
  • Call candidates in your area and ask them their position on sex-ed, their position on parental involvement in sex-ed curriculum and any other issues you think would be important to Illinois families.
  • Post your findings at the Stop Illinois FOCA website.

Together, we can be informed voters and impact Illinois for the good of families.
