Well, she hasn’t been heard of Since Friday, Nov 1. You know who. She said she only stuck around for Mr. Forty-Days For Life. I tried to tell her he never left. He always was here before too. But as all lies go, they are too exhausting to continue. But we are here…for life. The Archdiocese of Chicago (currently running the Chicago 40-Days For Life Prayer Vigil) invited Youth For Truth to hold a Pro-Life Youth Rally in Chicago.
Here I am (see photo at right) this past May with my daughter Liza in our new garden. We're planting red peppers. Last night, Liza helped me make a big pot of chili using some of those very same peppers.
Mayor Tom Weisner had a press conference today at 3pm in which he told the press that the city would be issuing the occupancy permit sometime in the next 24 hours.
I've posted my top 5 speeches from Tuesday's Aurora City Council meeting (in no particular order), providing a interesting mix of styles and viewpoints - there's a call to demolish the clinic, a funny yet compelling story about lies and evictions, straightforward legal reasoning, questions about bulletproof glass, and even a little infighting between the pro-aborts.
