I got back from the meeting a little while ago. They got 11 spaces.

Interesting that there were at least 4 uniformed police there just because this was on the agenda. Obviously, the City wants to portray anyone against PP as being a threat. That is really shameful, treating Aurora citizens like that.
I also wondered if collecting the names, addresses and phone numbers of the audience is standard procedure? Do we have to identify ourselves at public meetings now? I did it, but don't know if it was required.

Karen: As far as I know, there was no action at all by the police on the alleged assault until January 2009, three months after it supposedly happened.

If there were any Dominick's security cameras that recorded the incident, the data might not be around three months later (why would it be?). Might that be why they delayed three months on calling for information?

Kel: I don't believe the woman who allegedly assaulted the PP employee was ever identified. It's a pretty grainy picture. But she doesn't look crazy to me in that picture.

Who knows what really went on out there on October 1—if anything? For one thing, I find it fishy that there was no police blotter coverage of the incident. It's also, as I mentioned above, very strange that if they were so eager to get to the bottom of it they didn't give me a call.

Maybe the woman smiling in that photo really did "grab" the Planned Parenthood worker's arm and badmouth her place of employment. On the other hand, maybe she gently touched her on the arm and said, "Honey, you don't have to work at that horrible place." Who knows?

In any case, that's pretty shaky grounds for digging up a city easement, I think.

One of the problems with lies is that it's hard to keep the details straight. Did anyone notice that according to PP's "Explanation of Project Needs", the supposed assault occurred INSIDE Dominick's? Now which was it, inside or outside? Witchita or Kansas City? "Secure" parking spaces behind and in front of security gates? Pro-aborts or pro-lifers murdered?

This would be hysterical if the Aurora residents on these boards wouldn't keep swallowing these lies hook, line, and sinker.

If there was an "assalt" outside of Dominick's, the video camera's at that store should have caught that. Why did the police not request the tapes for the poor victim? Why did the victim not report this to Dominick's and ask them to preserve the tapes as "evidence" of this crime? How long does Dominick's save their video and if tapes from the assalt date exist, where are they stored now?
