Fox Valley Families Against Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood tries to drum up more business

Posted by Matt Yonke on Friday, September 25th, 2009

Planned Parenthood's ad in the Aurora BeaconPlanned Parenthood ran this ad in the Aurora Beacon on Monday, September 21 offering their "Convenient, confidential and affordable services. I see this as simultaneously displaying Planned Parenthood's strengths and their weaknesses.

It displays their strong suits of money and influence. Those are perhaps the two biggest things Planned Parenthood has going for them in this struggle, and they have them in spades.

It costs money to advertise. This is a very nicely designed ad which says they hired a good designer which they consistently do. Good design costs money, but they've got money to burn. That's where they're strong.

But this ad also shows their weakness. Why do they have to put out a pretty, inviting ad like this? Why do they have to offer discounts to new patients on their already "affordable" prices? It's because what they do is disgusting and everybody knows exactly what they do.

And that's why it's so important for us pro-lifers to be out there. We are the testament to the reality of abortion. Even one pro-lifer standing outside that clinic is a sign that won't let people forget what really goes on inside that nice, well-landscaped building. And sometimes that sign is enough to make a woman rethink her decision to have an abortion, or just to patronize Planned Parenthood for other services.

That should spur each and every Fox Valley citizen who values life to stand at that clinic and be that witness. Especially during these "40 Days for Life" where we know our increased presence makes an impact. So sign up for an hour to pray during this important time and carry that enthusiasm past the 40 Days. Stand at the clinic and pray, join or monthly protest, keep an eye on the events page here for other pro-life events. Make the life-saving work of clinic witness a regular part of your life.

Talk about deceptive wording. They call "reproductive health", dialating a woman's uterus, mutilating and dismembering her preborn baby and suctioning out the baby with powerful suction, thereby ensuring that the that her baby dies and that the woman doesn't reproduce and risking her health with the possibility of severe bleeding, infection, puncturing her uterus and damaging her cervix. Planned Parenthood lies to you.

"Aurora's Reproductive Health Care Expert." Or so they proclaim themselves.

My guess is that more than a few would disagree. But what we do know about PP's expertise is that it has more to do with deception and lies than it does about health care.

Beginning when PP concocted the "Gemini" scheme in an effort to circumnavigate Aurora's zoning ordinances, and continuing to the meeting where they lied to our aldermen about who the eventual user of the facility would be, and now with revelations about the so called health care "expertise" they offer to underage girls on how to cover up their age in obtaining abortions…one thing is very obvious here, and that is Planned Parenthood is a fraud.

They say they offer reproductive health care. But we look at the the list of products/services they offer on the advertisment and but for the ones our tax dollars pay for we see cold, clinical, one time "solutions".

Where is the compassion and wholistic outreach to women in need of understanding and a helping hand in a crisis pregnancy? What about the thousands of women who have come forth and given painful witness about their own abortions and how very much they regretted having them…would Planned Parenthood, the "expert" in reproductive heath care breathe a word about such to a prospective client?

What about the physicians' oath to "do no harm"? Do PP's doctors, who perform over a quarter of a million abortions every year, consider for a moment the harm to women undergoing abortions, what it does to their physiological and psychological health, and to the baby they know is a baby that they are brutally dismembering?

This is "health care" and these are the "experts"? Save us from "experts" such as these.

Also lacking in their "reproductive health care" is ANY Pre-Natal care? Is this not "reproductive health care"? Yet Planned Parenthood does not offer it. Ask for yourselves. Planned Parenthood is not about helping anyone become parents, but about "helping" people from becoming parents.

    God Bless,
