However, you yourself seem not to understand the statistics you wish to teach. Yes, it is true that a person may "die from sex" (in the case of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, HPV leading to cervical cancer, or the death of an innocent unborn child through abortion at the hands of a mother who is "not ready" for the child that results from so-called "safe sex"). And condoms/birth control WON'T protect you. Condoms have high statistical failure rates for pregnancy alone, approximately equal to playing Russian roulette with one bullet in a six-shooter. Hormonal contraceptives also have significant failure rates, do nothing to protect against STDs, and can cause breast cancer as well as cancer of the liver and cervix. The World Health Organization in 2005 listed hormonal contraceptives (e.g., the Pill, Norplant, Depo-provera, etc.) as a Class I carcinogen, the highest rank of carcinogenicity (bet you won't see THAT in any of your "sex ed" classes!!!)

The typical "comprehensive" sex ed I am assuming you wish to give children is dangerous to them and to society. The government of India acknowledges as much. If only we in the US could do the same.

"Comprehensive" sex ed is a misnomer. Show me a "comprehensive" sex ed class that teaches true statistics about modern Natural Family Planning, as taught by organizations like the Couple to Couple League and fertility specialists. Yes, there is a morally acceptable way for married couples to space children, or for grave reasons, avoid pregnancy, that is scientifically proven over 99% effective (better than the Pill) and 100% safe. But you won't hear about it in schools because it is free and does not further the agenda of the pharmaceutical/abortion/entertainment industries who make billions of dollars off of the wares promoted and encouraged by the likes of Planned Parenthood.

When we hear people clamoring for children to have ALL information regarding sexuality, why do they purposefully neglect Natural Family Planning and downplay the emotional and spiritual consequences of sex outside of marriage? Could it be that the architects and purveyors of the "sexual revolution" are afraid of the truth: that there is a hunger, deep down, for what is right and true; that most children will, given the right direction, seek what God is calling them to in their hearts; that these social engineers were wrong–there is no such thing as "free sex" without the love and commitment of marriage?

So yes, another student, let's give people ALL the information. Let's tell them that sex has a price tag. Tell them the ugly statistics of sex outside of marriage without sugar coating. Show them the diseases, the broken hearts and lives, the dead, butchered babies, the names of women killed by abortionists. Let them read "Humanae Vitae", the prophetic encyclical on human like by Pope Paul VI that chronicles the detrimental effects that contraception has wrought on the world.

Likewise show them the beauty of life: the ultrasound images of babies in the womb, the milestones of human development (like heartbeat beginning at 18 days), the joy of lifelong marriage from mentoring couples.

The "best way to deal with a difficult situation" never involves killing an innocent human being.

Lastly, I don't need to "walk in someone else's shoes" to understand what that someone is going through. Walking beside her is enough.

Contraception is the aborting of the making of a human being.

Educating children about safe sex prevents the issue of abortion from happening. Sooner or later children will participate in sexual encounters, weather in marriage(sometimes you cannot afford to have children right away) or out of wedlock. Telling a child they will die from sex or that condoms/birth control won't protect you, will only cause your pleas to fall on deaf ears. Supply them with all the scientific and statistical information available.

Why yell at and harass those who are only trying to find the best way to deal with a difficult situation? Remember you cannot understand someone's situation unless you have walked a mile in their shoes.
