Eric Scheidler to receive "Caritas Award" at Project Love "Rise And Dine Breakfast
Posted by Matt Yonke on Friday, March 20th, 2009
Project Love, a division of Illinois Citizens for Life Charitable Trust, will be hosting their "Rise and Shine" benefit breakfast Sunday, March 29th at 11 a.m. at the Naperville Country Club, 25W570 Chicago Avenue, Naperville (map) to further their work in support of young mothers.
This year the "Caritas" award, given to individuals for outstanding service in defense of life, will be presented to Eric Scheidler. Please come and give him your support and gratitude.
The cost is $20 and reservations are required and may be made by calling Eileen at 630-963-8039.
Project Love, based in Downers Grove, IL, provides financial aid to pregnant women and new mothers in need. Over the past 13 years, it has given over 700 grants on behalf of women throughout the state of Illinois. Public and private organizations working with women refer those in a financial crisis to Project Love. After screening, a check is sent to the woman’s creditor to help pay a bill.
Various fundraisers organized by the Project Love committee help pay for the grants they provide. Their upcoming breakfast is their latest offering to raise money, and all are invited. New committee members are always welcome as well.
Periodically, the Project Love committee awards its "Caritas" (Love) Award to a person for outstanding service in defense of all human life. Eric Scheidler, who has led the effort to stop the opening of Planned Parenthood in Aurora, will receive this very special award at the breakfast. He has spent countless hours in organizing and energizing Aurora citizens and surrounding communities to stand up against the killing of unborn children by Planned Parenthood.
Congratulations, Mr. Scheidler. Thank you for fighting for the rights of the unborn and working to protect women (& men) from the detestation of abortion.
God Bless,
Roger
