Fox Valley Families Against Planned Parenthood

Monthly protests enter second year

Pro-lifers picket Planned Parenthood Aurora [Photo by Dan Wurtz]Last Saturday saw Fox Valley Families Against Planned Parenthood's thirteenth monthly protest at Planned Parenthood Aurora. Despite chilly windy weather, over 100 pro-lifers came out to let Planned Parenthood know that their presence in Aurora was not welcome.

Planned Parenthood Illinois CEO Steve Trombley predicted when Planned Parenthood opened in October of 2007 that the protesters opposing them would dissipate once they gained a victory in opening. What Trombley didn't understand is that, for pro-lifers, stopping Planned Parenthood from opening was only a battle, not the whole war.

Entering the second year of protests, pro-lifers are as vehement as ever that Planned Parenthood is not part of their vision for the Fox Valley and they are still willing to give up their Saturday mornings to make sure their voices are heard.

Given the grit and dedication of the Fox Valley's pro-life community, Planned Parenthood can expect to see pro-lifers outside their facility every day they are open and especially every third Saturday of the month until they close their doors once and for all.

HEY EVERYONE, Please go to FightFOCA.com and sign the petition against the Freedom of Choice Act which forces taxpayers to fund abortions,re-introduces partial birth abortion, and forces all hospitals to perform abortions if asked…amoung other things.
There is a good chance it will be brought before Congress/Obama and we can stop it!

    Thanks and God Bless

Actually, a majority of the electoral college (don't forget 2000). He also had a half billion dollars and a cheer-leading section that was supposed to be a skeptical press corp, but after the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the associated economic catastrophe, a limp rag with a D next to its name was going to win.

And where do you think that money came from? Many, many people who have never donated to a campaign before, gave money to this one.

COP TICKETS COUPLE HEADING TO DELIVERY ROOM

A man in Massachusetts is appealing a $100.00 ticket he got for driving to a hospital in the breakdown lane of a gridlocked highway in the city of Boston while his wife was in labor on December 5, 2008. They were made to wait at least 10 minutes while the officer wrote another motorist a citation and then proceeded to write them one as well (even after being convinced they were truly headed to the hospital delivery room!) This is one for the books.

"and where do you think that money came from?"

A lot of it came from people who gave less than 200 dollars. That means we won't know where it came from. I also know that he threw aside his promise of matching funds. If a Republican had done what he had done, we'd hear about how the private finance system is broken.

    Pro-choice to what you say?
    Killing babies.
    That sounds terrible.
    That's because it is.
I think I'll join the protest.
How can any man turn away and wash his hands of the blood of their procreation under the guise that it is the mother's choice?
Sounds a lot like Pontious Pilate and the condemnation of Jesus.
How can they deny that life id present at conception?
They can't so they redirect the issue to personhood or change the subject all together.
Nobody is comfortable being exposed as pro-choice to tear babies from their mother's womb in bloody pieces.
I'll see you at the next monthly protest, till then may God bless you and keep you my pro-life friends.
