Thank You, John Thorne

In today's Aurora Beacon, Andre Sales wrote an article entitled Something is missing at council meetings. In this article, on the front page, Andre shares his admiration for pro-lifer John Thorne.
The article points out that John Thorne has consistently appeared before the city council since FVFAPP learned about Planned Parenthood and began addressing the council.
Thank you John Thorne for your perseverance and dedication to the cause of life. May all of us show the same perseverance in our prayers and efforts to bring life back to Aurora.
God Bless,
Roger
I'll be praying for you to get well soon, Roger!!!!!

Near the top of the steeple of an old church in Norway,
a small lamb is carved. It was not put there for elaborate
decoration, but from deepest gratitude.
As the church was being built, a worker high on the tower
scaffold lost his balance and fell to the ground. The
other workers knew he would be dead, but hurried quickly
down to his side. To their amazement and joyful surprise,
the man was not dead. He was only slightly injured and was alive!
Just before his fall, a flock of sheep wandered close to the new church on their way to pasture. The worker fell on a lamb that cushioned his fall. He was saved, but the lamb was crushed to death.
Later in tribute and honor, a craftsman climbed to the top of the tower and carved a small lamb in stone at the exact place from which the workman fell.
Saved by the Lamb! words from R. Atchley from the book,
A Shepherd's Heart by P.C. Brownlow
As a shepherd carries a lamb, our Lord God Almighty
carries you close to his heart. Isaiah 40:11
during this time of recovery and always.
The Lord is the Strong, Faithful, and Only True God
and Little John, you are His faithful servant to stand
in gap for Him.
The Lord Most High is our Eternal God. His everlasting arms will always protect us from danger, discouragement, and defeat. He is our source of everlasting comfort and hope (2 Ths. 2:16), never-ending love (Psa. 103:17) and
eternal LIFE (JOHN 3:16).
O Lord my God, I cry out to You for help and ask You
to restore Little John's health (Ps. 30:2). Sun of
Righteousness rise up with healing in Your wings
(Mal 4:2 please heal and restore Little John to health. And thank you for what a blessing he is to us.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

John,
John a speedy recovery and I hope you're strong enough to be there at the Jericho March since you started the tradition. Last year Fr. Loya (Relevent Radio) asked about the march and I said that you spearheaded that event and he asked if you were "Little John?" Also a man I beleive to be a bishop asked about you by "Little John," both by your feedback on Christian Radio. In the article in the Beacon it said you would not evoke change but I think you already have by starting one of the best events in Aurora pro-life: a solemn and peaceful procession of prayer around the perimeter of The Planned Parenthood (The Jericho March.) God Bless You for that! You were remarkably my favorite leader in various projects connected to our attempt at closing down Planned Parenthood. We will, someday, by the Hand of God.
Get well soon. You're in my prayers.

So sorry to hear that John has been down with pneumonia. Sales is right. You have to admire him. They should also admire his views on abortion and Planned Parenthood. He's absolutely right.
You're in our prayers, John!

John – I thank you for your prayerful diligence andaction. May God continue to bless you with an abundance of graces as he did for another John:
"There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light."
John 1 6-8, NAB
