Has any one been able to talk with their parents? Don't you just wish you could go to their house and talk with them? It is so sad and desperate! I do believe if the young couple were given the truth about their baby, they would have a chance to choose life which would include the thought of adoption, since it sounds like the parents have no intention of helping raise the child.I will see what else I can do, keep praying, for the couple and most especially the couple's parents, miracles are always happening! I do not know this couple I was given this prayer request from a fellow counselor in Rockford. They have fliers all over the medical buildings at Mercy campus. You can walk in and get a pregnancy test. They will give you an appointment for paperwork and tell you what info you need to bring. Help you fill out and file all the paperwork for Medicaid and give you a temp health card until the papers are complete so you can get prenatal care. They will also help you get on WIC and any other social service programs you qualify for. The down side is that if you are still on the fence about keeping the baby they will refer you as easily to PP and a crisis pregnancy center.
