Mom leaves Planned Parenthood, chooses LIFE

Posted by Matt Yonke, December 12th, 2007

Clinic witness Joe B. shares this story of a woman who turned away from abortion at Planned Parenthood and chose life for her baby. Thanks to Joe and all those who brave the cold to pray and counsel.

Baby handI thought I would pass this great success story from the prayer vigil on Saturday December 8.

Between noon and 1:00 p.m. Ginny N., Alfredo P. and I were standing across from the entrance to Planned Parenthood. Two women between ages 20 and 25 came out of the clinic and got into a Burgundy four door sedan (maybe a Pontiac or Buick).

As they made a right out of the PP parking lot we extended our hand that was holding literature. The woman driving slowed and lowered her window. We handed the driver the literature and stated we were here to help and that the pamphlet had resources to help them.

As I was looking into the vehicle talking to the driver, the other woman, who was in the passenger seat leaned over to her left and with her right hand touched womb and said "My baby is still here."

We blessed her and told her to call any one of the numbers in the pamphlet. As she drove away, we three then prayed for her so she gets the necessary support and care. We shared this story with the prayer warriors who came after and it was truly uplifting to us all.

YOU ARE DOING FOR THE LEAST AMOUNG US. Your deeds cannot go unnoticed. I appreceate your time, dedication and courage.
See the internet can be used for good. We are learning that we are not freaks, outcasts and unstable individuals. We are Christians looking for brothers and sisters to stand shoulder to shoulder with and now we can communicate our successes and struggles on this site.

THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE THE COURAGE TO LIVE THEIR CONVICTIONS TO SUPPORT UNBORN LIFE.

Matt - You posted this story on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Dec. 12), and the actual event took place on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Dec. 8). Do you think Our Mother Mary is listening to our pleas? What an outstanding story. Thank you!!!

Our God is awesome and He will prevail!! What a wonderful feeling to stand for right in the midst of darkness. Thank you for being Salt and Light!!!!!!!If my people who are called by MY name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways I will hear from Heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land!!!! (2 Chronicles 7:13-15) I have found this experience over the last few months life changing. I have spoken to the Aurora city council, I have for the first time in my life peacefully protested. I am sure I am not the only one who has been changed. The quote that I love is "now that you know, you can't pretend you dont know" God brings us to a place in our lives where we make a choice to walk away or stand for Him. I know that now that I know I cannot pretend that I don't. I wont ever be the same after this experience. Praise the Lord!

Good. She made her OWN choice to leave. You had no affect on her decision seeing that (as you stated yourself) she was leaving the clinic (after visiting) when she got to you. This is a perfect example of why PP should STAY. People are obviously wise enough to make there own decision. They can stay or leave…that's why PP is so great. They don't MAKE you do anything nor do they crucify you for your choice (unlike what I think most of the people on this site do).

Thank you for the shining example that people can make there own choice and that choice should be available in whatever form they need…abortion or not. We don't need you to make our decisions for us. Thank you Planned Parenthood for being there when this woman walked through those doors for help, and for being there when she walked out, without chastising or humiliating her. A wonderful example of Planned Parenthood's availability, understanding, and care to all…whatever they may choose.

Murder is not part of "family" planning.
    Abortion is NOT pro-family.

    Halo,
Stop killing babies and calling it a pro-family choice. That is absurd. Families love and protect the children in their families. They don't murder them out of convenience.

    Halo,

How do you KNOW the PL people had no affect on her? Sorry to say, but we aren't making ANY decisions for the women who go in that clinic. We are offering support/counsel for them in hopes that they decide to not kill their unborn babies. We stand across the street from the clinic. How is THAT force? I mean really, what actions of our's are you misconstruing as force? Is sharing our opinion FORCE? Is peacefully protesting which is LEGAL in this country force? I guess as long as our beliefs don't fall in line with your's, we should just keep our mouths shut then.

    Halo,
Does the number 50,000,000 mean anything do you???

Thats how many lives that have been wasted in the almost 35 years since roe v wade.

All in the name of the sexual revelution and irresponsibility. Don't you think we can be responsible when we know the stakes?? There is a reason that there is an age limit for Gambling, and they will remove that limit as soon as they can abort gambling losses. When there is no consequence for your actions there is no reason to be responsible. That is what liberalism has become, sadly.

    Hey All,

This Saturday, a woman decided NOT to terminate her pregnancy. She stopped to tell the sidewalk counselors that she couldn't go through with it with all the people our there.

Our prayerful presence can and does make a difference.

    God Bless,

"A wonderful example of Planned Parenthood's availability, understanding, and care to all "
    ————————————————

Pls explain this wonderful example of PP's "availability, understanding and care" to a girl in her mid-20's that went for an abortion 2 weeks ago. She didn't realize the abortionist botched up the procedure when she felt pain a couple of days later and went to an ER facility to have herself checked.

They confirmed there were still "pieces" of the baby left and advised her to go back to PP and tell them to finish the job properly. She did and was told by the "caring" people in PP they don't do abortions on Thursdays.

She had to go to another ER to have an emergency D&C or she would've probably bled to death…

..and Halo, the PP facility that did this is the one at Oakhurst Drive…the same one we are protesting.

Ramir……just read your post #11. How awful! And who was the first ER hospital???? I thought PP has abortion doctors at the mill on Thurs thru Saturdays only. Can Halo take action against PP??? I hope someone from our group is there to further assist Halo thru all of this.

    Halo,

I have the deepest respect for the folks that are outside of PP praying and offering assistance to anyone who would like it. If these same types of people were standing outside the Boulder clinic I had my abortion at in 1978, my beautiful daughter would be with me today. I was looking everywhere for help. And PP certainly gave me none. They only told me I'd feel "relief." Well, it's been almost 30 years … and there is only sorrow, no relief. Woe to you for condoning the practices of Planned Parenthood. They represent Satan at his best. Are you looking hard enough at what goes on in there? Would you like to die that way?

    Evelyn,

Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the name of the two ER facilities that the girl (not Halo) went to…but these are well known in Aurora. The girl is not from the Fox Valley area.

Now that you mentioned it, it could have been a Tuesday that she went to the ER's…having gone to PP on the earlier dates they have abortionists on call.

Thank you for your post. Your honesty is wonderful, it takes great courage to share with total strangers what you have experienced. I will continue to pray that our Lord Jesus Christ who is merciful, gracious and all understanding will continue to bring you peace and healing. Just remember, your daughter is waiting for you to come home:)

Have you come out and prayed with us at PP Aurora? I sure would like to meet and pray with you. Blessings on you and your family. Merry Christmas, and thank you again for sharing.

Are any of you considering voting for Mike Huckabee? He is the strongest pro-life candidate currently running for president. I encourage you to take a look at his website http://mikehuckabee.com to learn more about him and his campaign. He has said he will sign any bill for life that crosses his desk should he become president.

Fighting Irish Thomas has a very well-written article regarding Mike Huckabee, Pope Benedict, Regina Hughes (a mother of eight) and hope. It's an interesting blend of happenings. Click under my name to view.

Although he doesn't speak about the issue all that often, John McCain has been a consistent pro-lifer for over 20 years in the Senate. Pro-life groups don't like him because of his campaign finance law, but the man has been there consistently for the pro-life movement. It might help him to remind voters of this.
