This Saturday's Protest - Let's Repeat Last Month's Success!
Posted by Jeff on Monday, December 10th, 2007
I posted a couple of new videos from last month's protest of Planned Parenthood Aurora. The first mixes Eric’s closing prayer with various pics and video clips from the day. If you know someone who is considering attending this Saturday, it gives a nice overview of how these monthly rallies look and feel: peaceful, prayerful, organized and effective.
The second captures yet another First Amendment violation against pro-lifers in Aurora. Roger Earl was not permitted the freedom to pray quietly while walking his daughter in a stroller. Pro-lifers are denied access to certain sidewalk areas during our monthly protests (which is unconstitutional in itself), but Roger was not even part of the protest and still forced to move. You can hear Roger’s explanation of events, including how the police questioned what he was praying about, and their insistence that anyone praying must be part of the protest.
The next protest of Planned Parenthood Aurora is scheduled for this Saturday, December 15. Last month’s protest was a fantastic success, with well over 200 people praying and marching in support of life. I thought it was especially exciting to see many new faces at the protest – I spoke to numerous people who said it was their first ever pro-life event – so let’s continue to invite others to join the cause. I’m looking forward to a strong turnout and repeat performance this weekend!
HI folks…I'll be attending this Saturday's rally…are the "No picketing/ NO Protesting" signs still there? IF so, are we limited to the NY street sidewalks?
See ya there!

Yep, the signs were still there the last time I checked. As for where we can walk, I'm sure that Eric will give clear instructions (just like last time) so we know where to go. At the November march, I believe that the lawyers negotiated up until the last minute on where exactly we could protest, so we may not have a definitive answer until the day before the event.

Nice job on the videos, Jeff. It looks like y'all are putting up a great fight for life! I hope y'all see such a good turnout this Saturday. God bless y'all's efforts!

Sorry I didn't make the rally this morning. How was the turn out?

About 150-200 people. It was fabulous! Each one is better than the one before! The best part was a baby was saved while we were there! I was in the line so I hope that someone from the prayer-forces by the clinic will report the details!

Thanks for the rally update Mary Lu. I am glad so many were able to attend. My two year old baby also has a great time at the pro-life rallies. She was walking around inside the house holding a protest sign and marching.
