Encouragement from the Front Line
Posted by Wanda, December 1st, 2007
When I arrived at the Planned Parenthood facility this morning I saw every entrance into the shopping center had pro-lifers with pictures of babies who had been aborted. It was very cold and starting to snow, the people we relieved in front of the clinic were happy to see us and spoke to us about a couple they believe turned away and did not have an abortion. We were encouraged and began to pray and to try to speak with those going in.
Several young couples went into the clinic. Pretty soon one came out again and started walking to their car, I asked them to come talk to us and the man (boy?) waved as they got in their car. As they came out of the driveway, he rolled down his window and spoke, saying "we decided not to go through with it."
Smiling widely, I thanked them and offered them the information on places that could help them with the pregnancy crisis. I told them God would bless them for this decision and we spoke of all the peole that were praying for them and who wanted to help them. Both were smiling, the girl with a brightness in her eyes that could only be unshed tears. The boy thanked me and they drove away. Please continue to pray for this couple!
Today I know at least two babies lives were saved by our presence. I feel honored and blessed to be used by God in such a way. Please, when you are discouraged, cold, and feeling like we are getting no where, remember that each minute we are out there, a baby, a mother, and a father may be saved - in more ways than one! May God Bless you and keep you warm!

Wanda:
Despite PP's best efforts to keep pro-life contact with abortion bound women from happening, the Holy Spirit finds a way to reach those who are open to His promptings. You know of at least two children that were saved, but who really knows how many women never even went in because of your prayerful presence there. God bless you and all of the counselors and prayer warriors for your efforts.
And in addition to saving babies every day we win people over to the cause because they respect the commitment on display through our constant presence and witness to life. Throughout the country many have come to embrace the cause of defending life because of the example of others. Some of the conversion stories are remarkable in that they are from people whom by their own admission would never have thought they would become pro-life. Individual profiles of those conversion stories would be an excellent topic for a future blog.

Thanks for saving several lives today, who without your help would not have had a chance at life.
I've already prayed for the young couple and Hoochie, as well.
Blessings.

I pray for you to lose this hatred. It's not the way of the Lord.

And we are praying for you, too, Acadia. I personally can't understand where you are seeing hatred. But if we join together in praying against hate, and for love, and let the Lord work out how that is to be accomplished in His time, and in His way, then we are in agreement. Blessings to you.

Wanda,
Thanks for sharing. It is great to hear about the positive affect that our witness and sidewalk counseling is having at the clinic.

You are only having a negative effect on people. Unless you plan to adopt every child in every orpahage, you should stop what you're doing.

Hey Azara,
You might not know this, but there are waiting lists for adoption services. People are going abroad to adopt. Why? The babies who were adopted in America are killed now.

I wonder how negative the effects of living his or her life will be on the child who wasn't aborted.

Azara,
It helps with communication if people can be honest to one another. Why were you there at PP? Have you ever had an abortion? Most people who support PP are only willing to speak in general terms about why they go there. I believe the reason they do not speak openly about it is because they know hat goes on in those places is evil. So how is it hateful to try and keep girls from entering into that House of Horrors?

It's only secondhand, onsite information, but part of the decision to leave had to do with seeing a large picture of the 8 week - after conception - developing fetus. I had been told that they decided they couldn't do that to thier child. Guess they got the picture!

Paul2, why are you trying to pry into Azara's medical history? It is none of your business why anyone is seeing a doctor at any facility, wheather it's Planned Parenthood or Dreyer Clinic. Most people only speak in general terms about why they go to Planned Parenthood for the same reason I only speak to strangers in general terms about why I go to my own personal gynecologist, or any doctor. Because it's private!
You have every right to stand outside and protest, I commend you for it. But when you start asking personal questions about a person's medical history and whether they've had abortions, it's crossing a line.

Praised be our God!!! Thank you so much for your account/story, Wanda.
God bless you and all of the prayer warriors and sidewalk counselors.

Samantha,
I am not "prying". Azala stated that it is hateful to try and stop girls from going into that killing center.
Honest and open dialogue regarding including personal experiences are the best way to understand each others perspectives. What goes on in those places is exactly the topic. Therefore what goes on inside those killing centers is very much relevant. And I genuinely care for the girls who get hurt daily inside that place.

Sorry Azara that I got your name wrong in the last post.

Step right in Miss.
Please have a seat.
Sign these papers that you agree.
To terminate your pregnancy.
And MURDER, the baby
Please don't MURDER the baby.
Don't MURDER the baby
Lie down on the gurnee.
Raise, up your knees.
Were going to start an IV.
Let us know if you feel any pain.
While we MURDER the baby
Please don't MURDERR the baby
Don't MURDER the baby
We won't leave one baby ear.
No baby eyes, no little baby nose.
No itsy bitsy baby fingers.
No cute little baby toes.
When we MURDER, the baby
Don't MURDER, the baby.
Please don't MURDER, the baby.
You won't have to know.
We'll turn the ultrasound from your face.
When we grab the baby.
You can't see her little heartbeat race.
While we MURDER the baby.
Don't MURDER, the baby.
Please don't MURDER, the baby.
Slide the scissors up the spine,
to the bottom of the babies head.
Poke them through her skull then open them wide.
And suck the brains from the babies head.
When we MURDER, the baby.
MURDER the baby
MURDER MURDER MURDER the baby.
Please don't MURDER, your baby.

Samantha,
Do you know realize not disclosing what goes on inside those places is keeping rapists from prosecution and predators on the street?

B,
"I wonder how negative the effects of living his or her life will be on the child who wasn't aborted."
Worst case scenario is that they would become pro-abortion.
