Thanks for posting the link to that incredible but true story from the Colorado House of Representatives.

I have known about Gianna Jessen and her survival from a botched abortion for several years. She is a great witness to the dignity and humanity of every person born or unborn, and a wonderful young woman.

Maybe we could get Gianna to come out to Aurora to speak?

For years (well over 16 of them), I suffered from two simultaneous auto-immune disorders (one that has robbed me of my hearing) that just wiped me clear out on a 24-hour daily basis. Of course, I realized suffering was a good thing when you give it up for the Lord and His Church, but my children were very young at the time, and I was praying like a monk for some relief. One day our youngest (4) was on my lap and she inquired as usual "How are doing today, mom?" I answered with my pat answer, "Oh so-so." And she didn't miss a beat, looked me straight in the eye and said, "Maybe if you'd listen harder to what Jesus is trying to tell you, you'd feel better." ("Therese" turns 17 in a few weeks, and I've never forgotten that ... ever!). Kids are Christ's vehicle indeed!
