Jericho March Draws Hundreds
Posted by Roger on Sunday, September 16th, 2007
Saturday's Jericho March was a great success, in spite of the opposition, both from the City of Aurora and from PP. I went to pray at the site at 7am and the first news crew arrived shortly afterwards. It was chilly, but the sun came out to warm out bodies, as the Son warmed our hearts.
An estimated 1,000 people attended the Jericho March, arriving by car, or shuttle bus, or walking from the surrounding neighborhood. "Battalions", of about 100 people, were formed at the corner of New York and Oakhurst. Then wave after wave, people walked, prayed and sang for the non-opening of the PP facility.
The people who came? Well, they looked pretty "normal" to me. There were many families in attendance, with stroller and/or toddlers. Many people brought religious icons and Bibles along too.
The march ended in a great Clergy Press Conference, but that's the subject of another post.

Yes, the march was wonderful … one "lap" instead of seven didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits that I saw. What an incredible crowd; when you're fighting the right fight, it can only bring light! We put together a vid … it's at the link under my name. Come take a look. God love you all!

Oh, and on the video, take a long look [stop the video if need be] at the photograph [it's tinted yellow and is a ways into the vid - the instrumental part] of the two children. They are holding signs in Spanish. Look at the shadow on the little girl's sign and let me know what you think that looks like.

Me again … also take a look at the frame immediately preceding the photograph of the kids … this was all brought to my attention today [after completing the sequence of the video and publishing it to YouTube] by someone else …

FightingIrishThomas,
Since I have dial up my computer sometimes has problems loading up to your website. Therefore I want to post a direct link to your video…

I really liked it.
Here's another video of the Jerico March done by Jill Stanek. The music in the background is "Queen"…

Also, you can see today's ad's posted by Families Against Planned Parenthood on Jill's website if you did not see them in today's papers. The ad's were excellent!

Thanks Mike for the info and for posting the YouTube link too. What do you think about the shadow on the sign? Do you see anything? I've had a few responses … and would love to hear more …

Tom,
What sign? At what time should I pause the video to look at it?

2:33 or 2:34

This is actually the Mrs. Mike … Net for short … my name is Jeanette … Tom works constantly, so I do some computer work for him …

On YouTube, Mike, it's 2:37 … (on our site, it's 2:33).

Net,
I do see something. It looks like a face and an arm with something pointy on the bottom. It's about 2:33 to 2:40 into the video. I asked others to see what they think it is.

Mike,
Do you see how the pointy thing is directly connected to the "l" in Planned, as if something is draining out of Planned Parenthood? Either draining out or poking in … and there is clearly a neck and a body if you pull the picture out far enough. The people who made me aware of this … well they first thought it was demonic … then the longer they looked at it, the more they saw a fetus … it's really incredible (it gives me the chills) … I would love to hear what others say … the original picture is a color shot and the shadow was so strong on it, that I yellow tinted it to keep the words on the sign shown behind the shadow …

Mike, also note that the image is directly over the word abortos … and it looks like it's trying to smother it out … it's all smeary i mean … i'm getting scads of hits on our site … i hope some people comment as to what they see if anything …

I see something "oozing" out of the "l" but how do you "pull the picture out" to see what you see?
September 16th, 2007 at 10:29 pm
Are you saying that the larger shadow to the right over the whole side is what you see? And where am I supposed to look at the frame immediately preceding it?
September 16th, 2007 at 10:34 pm
Ok. Now I went to view Jill's montage. I could say the same for an image oozing out of the center of the cross right next to the boy's hand (4:40), the cloud "pointing" to the banner (2:48), the glare crossing out parenthood (2:16) and over cameras (1:49)
This could all me the nature of moving the photos. But check out the reflection in the glass in the plannedparenthood door (4:08) That one really did give me chills–maybe I just need some shut-eye…

Hi Mary Lou, I changed the pic (only on our site, not YouTube); maybe you can see the shadow better. I got rid of the yellow tint so this is the photograph untouched. (And you can move the bar at the bottom of the vid to reposition on different frames.) Now this shadow doesn't exactly depict an image as clearly as the image on Juan Diego's tilma … but I thought it was worth mentioning. I, myself, can now clearly see the image of a child; the young girl holding the sign even has her hand at what would be the nape of the neck of this shadow baby.

check out http://www.openlineblog.com today (Monday). They have some good info on Judge Charles Norgle's background. He was nominated by President Reagan.

Thanks Gina … I read the article … sounds hopeful … I'll be praying like a monk today for a positive outcome on this case.
Now today is the feast of St. Robert Bellarmine. He is the patron saint of canon lawyers … so ask his intercession … he will gladly oblige … here's a link about him:

St. Robert Bellarmine, pray for us!

I mentioned to a friend of mine that the shadow that I've been talking about in all these comment links now looked to me like a baby soldier (as in Jericho) fighting the walls of planned parenthood (with his pointed weapon pointing to the "l" in planned) and he responded with this:
"All this stuff is enough to make you believe somebody
really good is in charge … ya think?
I baby warrior – I love it … and the baby's name is … Joshua! Come down you walls!"

If you are unable to make it to the Aurora/PP site to pray today because of time involved or distance, but can make it to Elmhurst, I will be praying at Visitation Parish's Eucharistic Adoration Chapel for the cause at 11:00 a.m. for at least one hour. Please join me if you can … it's a chapel for the public, so silent prayer is requested, but, believe me, we will be heard. The Adoration Chapel is located in the southwest corner of the parking lot that is directly behind the church off of York Road.
