Yes, some people don't want to have children. What a news flash! And yes, they want the bonding that sex brings to a relationship. So we use birth control. Why is that bad????

Monica, by allowing people to end life because of convenience and by not promoting a culture of responsibility we are loosing our identity as America.
A diplomatic figure spoke to a Russian counterpart after the end of the cold war and asked why they had to kill so many innocent people and the Russian replied, Don't think you are any better, because you kill just as many only you do it before birth.
When did we stop valuing life? When did we give in? When did the idea of responsibility vanish??? In America we are spoon fed a healthy dose of anything goes and if you do anything wrong a lawyer or "medical procedure" can fix it.
It isn't about rights, it is about and irresponsible abuse of an option to erase an unintended pregnancy.
MEN ARE AS MUCH TO BLAME! I do not want to saddle women with the decision, the pain, and the agony of realization. Men need to keep it in thier pants or respect the possible consequences of thier actions by being responsible.
I don't want to be angry, I don't want to point fingers, but I do want you to understand that freedom doesn't exempt you from individual responsiblity. We are in this together, can't we agree that killing unborn babies is wrong? Even if you think it is the lesser of two evils, can't we agree that having an abortion isn't cause for celebration??

Sorry about 2 posts in a row. But Just wanted to say I have been missing on the Prayer Vigil and events because I have been busy helping a young expectant mom on bedrest with an 18 month old and a little one who was trying to get out too soon. Success! Friday was a Good Birthday and she now has a beautiful 5# 8 oz baby girl. Pray for the little one who must have heart surgery in a month. Sorry to burst your bubble Monica but we do walk the talk. And I do little compared to some.

Don't know how old you are but I admit to being 58 and I have spent my entire adult lifetime as a registered nurse(34 yrs) Doing all you say we should do but without the fear of the child that drives PP and with a respect for women they have not had since Margaret Sanger founded PP as a Eugenics movement. And I have done it without their mega billons of dollars. The Lifers have nothing to answer to PP about we are the only reason you still have a Right to Life and Freedom of Speech. Once one human being has lost those Rights we are all in danger so you best pray that we don't give up and go away.
We do not offer a product or service we offer a healthy Life with out regrets just respect.

So what's the deal with the signs "Planned Parenthood - BAD for Aurora" ? Is that supposed to mean that Planned Parenthood can go set up shop anywhere else - we don't care - as long as it is not in Aurora ? What's so special about Aurora that PP is going to be bad for Aurora ?

And why are flyers being sent to houses about how bad Planned Parenthood is ? How about spending that money going out and educating people about birth control and abstinence instead of wasting it on a flyer. Don't tell us how bad Planned Parenthood is - tell us WHAT YOUR GROUP IS DOING to support the issues of unwanted pregnancies. Are you increasing awareness about adoptions ? Are you financially or medically supporting the women who are pregnant but not wanting their baby ? Are you talking to teenagers about birth control and abstinence? Are you talking to parents of teenagers to speak to their children about sex and birth control ?

Like any product or service - Planned Parenthood will only be used if there is a need in society. Working to eliminate unwanted pregnancies will result in no abortions taking place at Planned Parenthood. How about working towards that rather than wasting time and money in "attacking" Planned Parenthood.

I go to the illinois mathematics and science academy in west aurora. The students here are mostly pro-death, so I'm hoping to get a sign for my window and see what comments I get. Hopefully, it will help draw out the pro-life people as well.
