Like Melissa we wish we could do more. Be assured of our prayers. Our movement (Prolife) is truly grassroots. That's why the way to fight the behemoth Planned Parenthood is on the local level as you are doing so effectively. They can buy expensive ads to spread lies in newspapers, or pay people to swell their ranks at rallies, or get friendly coverage in the pro-abortion mega media, but they cannot turn out the numbers on the local level that our people can. And one other thing they don't have, which in this case, is proving decisive, is TRUTH. God bless you and keep up the good work. Patrick Lee. I have to be honest; I am pretty new to this. I have spent past 15 years of my life in regret and mourning. Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics were the culprit of my loss. The “choice” taken was not mine, but one that I was “urged” into. I have finally decided to DO SOMETHING about it. However, I feel that my story is only one of thousands in the horrible wake that has been left behind the Planned Parenthood Business. I am sure my message to you is not new, and the vim and vigor in my prose has been rehashed ad nauseum. However, I too am a person, I too have grieved over a choice that should never have been available in the first place and I too wish nothing more than to see the end of the loss of children and the regret that follows. Many women, like me, were forced to have an abortion because it was legal. I am certain there are countless numbers of women that stay silent out of the anonymity it provides hopefully more will come over and speak out. I hope to see the “choice of death” be removed from the lips of every American sooner than later. . I only wish that there were more media coverage and that the current media coverage surrounding the Pro-Life movement would at least be more accurate. I have overstepped my bounds in my zeal and contacted Mel Gibson’s publicist regarding the clinic in Aurora. I have yet to hear anything back. Probably fell on deaf ears although, one never knows. I still have phone numbers and emails to publicists of many Hollywood types. Please let me know if you would like any info. I assume you have probably “shaken the Hollywood tree” already, but I thought I’d check anyway. The plaintiff, NOW (National Organization of Women) and their attorneys had to build a case based on lies made about the Pro-Life Action Network (which never was a formal organization of any kind) and about Joe Scheidler and the Pro-Life Action League, before the Federal District Court in Chicago. Anyone who has followed this case knows that the charges brought by NOW were probably the most contrived and bogus claims ever brought to trial and kept in court for 20 years.
