Honorable Mayor Weisner,

I am simply asking you and praying that you will BE what the title above states you are. Honorable. Honor the promise you made at the council meeting when you stated that you would not impose a deadline into the investigation into Planned Parenthood'd dealing with the city. The office of Mayor for a large city such as ours is quite a job. I pray that you would want to be remembered as a man who kept his word especially on an issue that has such an impact on our city.
A man who keeps his word deserves to be called honorable.

Prayerfully,

Terri Johnson

Honorable Mayor Weisner,

I was present at the City Council meeting until the very early hour of 1:40am when you made a promise for an open, thorough, independent investigation with no deadline. This email serves to remind you of this promise and to respectfully ask you to reconsider imposing a deadline into the investigation into Planned Parenthood’s dealings with the City. Your September 12th deadline is unreasonable. Furthermore, I ask that you will not allow this clinic to open until the independent investigation is complete.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration,

Jane Celeste Fonner

My letter to the Mayor's office:

Dear Mr Mayor,

I am a resident of Aurora and live under Alderman Keith's Ward.

I am adding my voice (again) to respectfully request that your self-imposed deadline of September 12 for the investigation of the Planned Parenthood
facility be lifted to provide for a TRUE investigation by the independent firm that still needs to be selected.

I am not a lawyer but I have dealt with them before and these things take time as any manager or a person in authority already knows.

I am unsure if you are protecting anybody's interests in this matter but will assume that you also want the truth found.

So what, if the temporary occupancy permit expires and PP does not open on time? This would not be the first time there were business delays.
If at all, baby lives would be saved.

Have a heart and be glad your Mom chose life.

God Bless you sir.

Honorable Mayor Weisner

As you know the new Planned Parenthood (PP) facility on the east side of Aurora has become highly controversial as the public has finally been informed of who is moving into the building. I'm sure most of your council meetings are not in excess of 6 hours in length. But last Tuesday's was, simply because so many local people believe passionately that this facility will be detrimental to the economic, social and spiritual health of Aurora. We, the people of the local area were very appreciative of your patience as you listened to the many testimonies given.

Furthermore, we were glad when you stated at that meeting that there would be no deadline to the independent investigation and that PP should not commence business activities until the investigation had been completed by an independent party. I, like many others was discouraged to read therefore, a memo (attached) stating clearly that the investigation should be given a deadline, and that this deadline provides minimal time for a report to be written and delivered to the city. It serves all parties involved for this investigation to be given appropriate time, in order for the facts to be properly established and reported accurately. Approximately one week is not an appropriate amount of time, and it makes little sense for the investigation to be terminated to fit in conveniently with the commencement of the full occupancy permit.

We trust that as a representative of the people of Aurora, you will allow justice to prevail and correct procedures to take their full course. We ask you to lift the deadline imposed on this investigation. Furthermore, we trust that you will not allow this facility to open until the investigation is complete and objectively assessed by the city.

On behalf of the people who have entrusted you with their city...the city of Lights.

Honorable Mayor Weisner,

Character counts! When the mayor of the second largest city in the state of Illinois says one thing and, in a memo, instructs the opposite, what is that teaching all of us, and especially our young people. There were a lot of children there on Tuesday, August 28. Your words are on tape. Your memo is public. Character counts.

I do not mean to disrespect you or your high office, sir, but what example did you set for our youth who know you said one thing in the city council meeting, and then did another. Character counts.

Please remove your self-imposed deadline on the investigation, sir. This is so very important for the future of the citizens of Aurora, the state, and the entire nation.

Planned Parenthood is destroying the family structure.

Sincerely,
Dale Hammond

You had stated there would be no deadline into the investigation of Planned Parenthood's fraudulent tactics in opening an abortion clinin in Aurora and now you are giving a deadline which doesn't allow enough time for the investigation. The people of Aurora and surrounding cities deserve the truth to be kept by yourself with no deadline like you originally stated at
the Village Council meeting.
Thank you and also looking forward to you keeping your word on this important matter.

Honorable Mayor Weisner,

Please lift the September 12 deadline you have put on the invenstigation into Planned Parenthood's fraudulent practices in getting an abortuary opened in Aurora. This deadline does not give enough time to seek the truth in this matter. You said yourself at the council meeting that should the investigation not be completed by September 18th that you wouldn't say "Oh oh, we don't need to know the truth now."

This issue is too important to take only a week or so to investigate.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to you keeping your word.

Sincerely,
Amy Hartke

Honorable Mayor Weisner
I am requesting that the Sept.12 deadline on the investigation into Planned Parenthood's inappropriate actions be lifted. Based on your word at the last city council meeting establishing no deadline.

This unreasonable deadline that you now decided to impose, will not allow enough time to select an independent investigator nor seek a thorough examination into Gemini Office Development/Planned Parenthood's deception.

Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Lurene Filipski
