I don't have time for more than just a quick note here; I'll update later. We won big today in federal court today. Judge Charles Norgle denied Planned Parenthood's request for a preliminary injunction that would have forced Aurora to issue an occupancy permit so they could open for business.

This means that Planned Parenthood will remain closed while the investigation into their dealings with the City of Aurora continues. Aurora remains abortion-free!

So what's next?

Once again… after a little digging we find yet ANOTHER example of Planned Parenthood’s deception in the media. After his arrogant and open admissions of deception were published in newspapers and blogs across the country, Chicago PP CEO Steve Trombley has recently taken to the airwaves in an effort to re-spin the truth.

With his recent admission to the Chicago Tribune that “Frankly, I'm surprised we were able to keep it a secret for so long" still echoing in the ears of the Aurora community, Trombley now has the gall to claim just the opposite – claim that Planned Parenthood WANTED the city of Aurora to know they were moving into town, and bringing an abortion super-clinic with them!

At the September 11 City Council meeting, the citizens of Aurora were assured that Planned Parenthood's temporary occupancy permit would expire on September 17, and no permanent occupancy permit would be issued until the City's independent investigation had concluded.

On Monday, at about 12AM the KOC (Knights of Columbus) in full regalia arrived and we wondered why? We knew that such attire was usually left for very important events. Then Fathers Deutch and Barr arrived with Jesus! A small table was quickly dressed with the proper linens and we kneeled adoring Jesus silently for about 15 minutes. It was absolutely noise-less, such incredible peacefulness that I have never experienced at the site.

A bit later, Fathers started devotional prayers. Then the sprinklers turned on. They shot out and sprayed in a semicircle as usual EXCEPT for the ones that were to spray at Father and Jesus. INSTEAD, one in front sprayed straight up like a geyser and the other behind bubbled up halfheartedly. It was amazing! it was as if God parted the Red Sea…they continued to malfunction throughout the entire service. [Continue reading . . . »]

Great news for all who support and value LIFE. Planned Parenthood's scheduled opening this Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 is NOT HAPPENING! A federal judge has scheduled a full hearing for this Thursday, in which he will hear arguements from both the City of Aurora and PP.

 The Beacon reports (in the article below):

"Planned Parenthood President and CEO Steve Trombley counted the judge's ruling as a victory for Planned Parenthood saying that it is clear the judge took the issue seriously."

HA!  Is this a victory for the so-called 13 scheduled patients?  Not in PP's eyes.  But he is right that it is a "victory" for those 13 supposedly-scheduled patients. They do not have to endure the services of PP. 

And if 10% of those services that PP offers are "abortion services", the that's at least one baby who has more time to live, and one mother who has an opportunity to choose the right thing and say "YES" to LIFE.

Saturday's Jericho March was a great success, in spite of the opposition, both from the City of Aurora and from PP. I went to pray at the site at 7am and the first news crew arrived shortly afterwards. It was chilly, but the sun came out to warm out bodies, as the Son warmed our hearts. [Continue reading . . . »]

Wow! Where do I even begin? The Community Baby Shower was a great success! As most of you know, things move pretty quickly when it comes to the Families Against Planned Parenthood campaign so, when a friend of mine from church suggested this idea to me, I quickly passed it on. By the time we got the final “thumbs up” we had only 4 days to make this idea a reality. Yes, you read right, 4 days! But, as we know, with God all things are possible. Several women from our Mom’s Group at Holy Angels quickly volunteered their time and talents and, within 48 hours, we not only connected with the organizations who we planned on benefiting but we also had done a PR “blitz” to the local faith community and parish schools.
