What You Can Do To Fight Planned Parenthood
There is much that you can do to fight Planned Parenthood. First, sign up in the box on the right to receive news, updates and urgent action alerts. Then see the list below for actions you can take to prevent Planned Parenthood from operating in our community.
Since Planned Parenthood opened October 2, Families Against Planned Parenthood has maintained a continuous pro-life presence at the site (map)facility, every hour that it's open.
Rain or shine, day or night, hot or cold, we will be there praying that Planned Parenthood never opens. Please joins us, and sign up for an hour of prayer.
Through marches, pickets, protests, rallies and meetings, you can help inform our community about the true threat that Planned Parnethood poses to our families, and encourage our elected officials to do all they can to protect us.

- Thursday, Sep 4, 2008: Pro-Life Talk at Immaculate Conception in Morris—7 p.m.
- Eric Scheidler and Matt Yonke of the Pro-Life Action League will be speaking on "Pro-Life 101: Communicating the Pro-Life Message" at a pro-life gathering in Morris, IL.
- The event will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Morris (map) at 516 E. Jackson St.

- Saturday, Sep 6, 2008: Prayer Support and Sidewalk Counseling Seminar—8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Interested in learning how to pray effectively or how to be a sidewalk counselor at an abortion mill? No previous experience required. We welcome both women and men over the age of 18.
- The training begins on Saturday, September 6, 2008 with 8:30am Mass and concludes at 3:30pm. Donuts and Coffee after Mass and a light lunch will be provided at no charge (although free will offerings will gladly be accepted).
- The seminar will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd, Rockford, IL 61107 – in the church’s lower level meeting room (“Family Room”).
- Confirmed presenters include: Fr. Thomas Euteneuer, President of Human Life International, Jeff Eschbach, veteran Chicago SWC trainer, and Tom Brejcha, President and Chief Counsel for the Thomas More Society in Chicago.

- Wednesday, Sep 24, 2008: "40 Days for Life" Round-the-Clock Prayer Vigil at Planned Parenthood Aurora Begins—24/7
- From on Wednesday, September 24 through on Sunday, November 2, Fox Valley Families will participate in the national "40 Days for Life" campaign along with over 170 cities across the country.

Let your family and friends know about our prayer witness and about how dangerous Planned Parenthood is. Sign up for e-mail alerts (see the box at the top of this page on the right side), and forward them to your contacts. Print out the flyers available on the Tools page and pass them out at church or in the neighborhood.
Residents of Illinois' Fox Valley can also put up a pro-life yard sign, reading "Planned Parenthood BAD for Aurora" or "Planned Parenthood BAD for Fox Vally". For details, send an e-mail with your name, address and telephone number, and our Sign Captains will get in touch.
Contact your children's principal, the local school board, and the superintendent of your school district and tell them not to let Planned Parenthood into the school, under any circumstance or under any cover.
